As a Hotel Security Supervisor, your responsibilities extend beyond daily operations to include guiding and supporting your team, ensuring compliance with site procedures, and maintaining high service standards across all shifts. Your role involves overseeing access control, coordinating patrols, monitoring surveillance systems, and responding to incidents with sound judgment and efficiency.

You are expected to lead by example anticipating risks, making informed decisions, and handling situations with discretion and authority. You play a critical role in incident management, staff training, and communication with hotel management, ensuring that all security operations run smoothly.

  • Position: Monday to Wednesday 1600-2345
  • Flexible schedules with a variety of shifts available. We are seeking candidates who can work days, evenings, nights, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities for Hotel Security Supervisor

  • Oversee and monitor all areas of the property to ensure a safe, secure, and welcoming environment for guests, staff, and visitors
  • Lead and coordinate regular patrols, proactively identifying and addressing safety risks or suspicious activities
  • Respond promptly and effectively to incidents, emergencies, and potential threats, ensuring appropriate escalation and resolution
  • Prepare accurate, detailed, and timely reports on incidents, daily activities, and security observations
  • Supervise access control procedures, ensuring proper identification checks and adherence to hotel security protocols
  • Deliver exceptional guest service by balancing security enforcement with a professional and approachable demeanor
  • Liaise and collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency services during critical incidents or investigations
  • Provide guidance, training, and support to security team members to maintain high performance and compliance with standards
  • Ensure all security operations align with hotel policies, brand standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Continuously assess and improve security procedures to enhance overall safety and operational efficiency

Qualifications for Hotel Security Guard

  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Hold a Manioba valid security license 
  • First aid certification is an asset
  • Previsor Security Supervisor Expereince
  • Ability to think quickly and adapt to changing situations
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Adaptable to work at different site locations
