Ready to suit up as a Surveillance Security Guard

As a Security Guard you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all residents and guests, have excellent communication skills and attention to detail, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities for Surveillance Security Guard

• Security Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of facilities and keep detailed reports of any incidents.
• Adhering to the code of conduct set out by the client and site standing orders as per the site requirements.
• Incident Response: Respond promptly to any security incidents, emergencies, or alarms, and coordinate with local law enforcement when necessary.
• Reporting: Maintain detailed and accurate records of all security incidents, activities, and personnel movements within the facility, and notifying your supervisor.
• Public Relations: Must have good communication skills with the public, maintaining a professional, friendly and compassionate demeanor
• Training and Development: Coordinate required training for site specific duties needed to complete the job adequately and successfully.

Qualifications for Surveillance Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid security license - required
• First aid certification - required 
• Strong report writing skills
• Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
• Strong proficiency with technology
• Ability to stand and walk throughout shift
