Central Victoria Veterinary Hospital is currently recruiting an experienced Registered Veterinary Technologist for our Internal Medicine Department!
This role works closely with our Internal Medicine specialist to provide excellent care to patients requiring this service. This is a full-time position. The successful candidate will possess exceptional patient care and technical skills (including anesthesia for endoscopy), as well as a keen interest in building and maintaining relationships with pet parents. You will have opportunities to expand your learning through extensive exposure and involvement on various cases.
Have completed a Veterinary Technician or Animal Health Technician program (Eligible to register)
New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy - welcome to apply! We love growing new graduates!
Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery
Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records
Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents
Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
The ability to problem-solve or the ability to ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions
Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents
