About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established organization operating within a highly regulated environment, is seeking an HR Coordinator to join their collaborative People & Culture team. This role plays a key part in ensuring smooth day-to-day HR operations, supporting employees across the full lifecycle from onboarding through to offboarding.

You’ll work closely with HR, payroll, and business stakeholders, contributing to a people-first environment where accuracy, responsiveness, and confidentiality are essential. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their HR career who enjoys variety and thrives in a fast-paced setting.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll process new hires and employee changes with accuracy across HR systems
  • You’ll coordinate onboarding activities and support a positive new hire experience
  • You’ll respond to employee inquiries and manage the HR inbox in a timely, professional manner
  • You’ll track employee contracts, acting assignments, and key employment dates
  • You’ll liaise with payroll regarding timesheets, benefits, and employee changes
  • You’ll support reporting by preparing HR metrics such as headcount, leaves, and turnover
  • You’ll assist with leave administration and recruitment activities as needed

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1+ year of relevant HR experience, supported by post-secondary education in Human Resources or a related field
  • Experience using an HRIS system with strong data entry accuracy
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • High level of discretion and ability to handle confidential information
  • Experience supporting employee leaves is an asset
