Salary: From $65,000 to $75,000 per Hour
 

Location: Ottawa, ON (On-site, 5 days per week with future flexibility potential)

About the Opportunity
Our client, a growing real estate development organization, is expanding rapidly across Ottawa and Toronto with a focus on owning and operating storage properties. With significant growth underway, they are investing in strengthening their internal finance operations and building out their team to support increasing demand.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll manage daily accounts payable processes, including invoice entry, coding, and matching against purchase orders
  • You’ll review and monitor shared inboxes, ensuring all invoices are properly documented and approved
  • You’ll support PO approval workflows and follow up with stakeholders across multiple properties
  • You’ll ensure accuracy in HST application and general ledger coding
  • You’ll collaborate with internal teams and vendors to resolve discrepancies and maintain smooth operations
  • You’ll contribute to daily close procedures and ongoing process improvements

Skills and Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of progressive accounts payable experience
  • Hands-on experience with invoice processing, PO matching, and coding
  • Familiarity with real estate, property management, or multi-entity environments is an asset
  • Experience with Yardi or similar ERP systems is preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented mindset
  • Ambition and eagerness to grow within a scaling organization
