Duration: 6-month contract with potential extension or conversion to permanent

About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading organization within professional services, is seeking a detail-oriented Treasury Analyst to join their team. This role plays a key part in supporting daily treasury operations, ensuring accuracy in cash reporting, and maintaining strong banking relationships that enable financial stability and operational efficiency.

You’ll work closely with finance professionals and cross-functional teams, gaining exposure to complex financial processes and systems. This is an ideal opportunity for someone early in their career who is eager to build hands-on experience in treasury functions while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing environment.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll prepare daily cash reporting and support ongoing cash management activities
• You’ll complete bank reconciliations and collaborate with internal teams to resolve discrepancies
• You’ll liaise with banking partners to address inquiries and support compliance reporting
• You’ll monitor daily bank balances and ensure alignment with financial systems
• You’ll prepare journal entries and interest calculations related to banking activity
• You’ll manage cheque status updates, including stop payments and reconciliations

Skills and Qualifications
• 2 years of experience in treasury, cash management, or bank reconciliations
• Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems is preferred
• Advanced Excel skills with strong attention to numerical detail
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet daily deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Familiarity with KYC processes or trust accounting is considered an asset
