Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid, includes 1 required weekend shift either remote or on-site at King & Parliament)
Language: English, strong written and verbal communication required
Duration: 6-month contract with potential for extension or permanent conversion
Background Check Requirement: Criminal background check and professional references required

As a Customer Support Representative, you will be at the forefront of the customer experience, supporting users through thoughtful, high-quality interactions while contributing to a rapidly evolving business.

Working within a collaborative and fast-paced team, you will primarily manage email-based customer inquiries, requiring strong written communication and the ability to navigate multiple systems efficiently. Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll respond to customer inquiries through email and CX platforms, ensuring timely, accurate, and professional communication

  • In this role, you’ll troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and provide clear and effective solutions

  • You’ll manage a high volume of tickets while navigating multiple systems and tools with speed and accuracy

  • You’ll contribute to internal documentation, including help articles, FAQs, and process improvements

  • You’ll monitor flagged accounts and escalate complex or sensitive issues when required

  • You’ll share customer insights and feedback to support ongoing product and service enhancements

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1 to 3 years of customer service or support experience, ideally within retail, hospitality, or a startup environment

  • Strong written communication skills, with the ability to clearly and professionally respond to customer inquiries

  • High level of technical proficiency and comfort working across multiple platforms and tools

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

  • Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset

  • Interest or exposure to fintech, payments, or technology is considered an asset
