About the Opportunity
Our client is an agile MedTech start-up that is bridging the gap between digital health and insurance. They have developed a powerful SaaS platform that serves both B2B and B2C markets, and they are now ready to establish a dominant presence in the Toronto landscape.
In this role, you will be a foundational "hunter" responsible for navigating the complex Canadian insurance ecosystem. You will work closely with the executive leadership team to pitch, negotiate, and close transformative deals that integrate this innovative health solution into the benefit plans of thousands of Canadians.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll lead the charge in identifying and securing long-term partnerships with Tier-1 insurance carriers and national brokerages.
In this role, you’ll oversee the entire deal lifecycle, from initial cold outreach to navigating the technical and legal requirements of multi-year contracts.
You’ll architect joint go-to-market strategies that ensure successful product adoption across new partner networks.
You’ll act as the primary market expert in Toronto, translating feedback from the insurance industry into actionable insights for the product team.
Skills and Qualifications
8+ years of progressive experience in business development or strategic partnerships within the insurance or employee benefits sector.
A proven track record of "hunting" and closing complex, high-value deals with major Canadian carriers or global consulting firms.
Deep knowledge of the Canadian group benefits landscape and a strong existing network of industry decision-makers.
The ability to communicate sophisticated SaaS value propositions to C-suite executives and technical stakeholders alike.
