We are looking for a proactive, detail oriented Marketing Experience Specialist to join the Manulife Vitality marketing team within Manulife’s Canadian Marketing organization. You will play a pivotal role in delivering high impact advisor-facing experiences across the country.  

This role primarily supports creating advisor experiences for the  Manulife Vitality portfolio, while also contributing to strategic marketing initiatives that help drive advisor engagement and business growth across individual insurance. 

Manulife Vitality is a differentiated, behaviour change program embedded within select Individual Insurance products. Through personalized health goals, activity tracking, and rewards, Manulife Vitality helps Canadians live longer, healthier, better lives.

Position Responsibilities:

Marketing & Strategic Support 

  • Assist Marketing Leads with the execution of advisor and member marketing initiatives across various channels (email, web, sales enablement, etc.). 
    Support the development of project briefs, content routing, translation requests, and approval workflows. 

  • Review creative for accuracy, brand alignment, and quality. 

  • Conduct reporting and insights analysis to support marketing performance measurement. 

  • Provide budget coordination support and vendor/partner administration as needed. 

  • Contribute to the planning and execution of priority marketing initiatives that drive advisor growth, engagement, and program engagement. 

  • Serve as a marketing generalist eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast paced team. 

Event Overview & Execution 

  • Support planning, management, and execution of events that enhance brand visibility and strengthen relationships with Advisors and key partners.  

  • Support event logistics from conception to completion, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual needs, and onsite coordination.   

  • Liaise with internal stakeholders, vendors, and partners to ensure seamless execution and alignment with business goals. 

  • Help with event budgets to ensure cost effective planning and delivery.  

  • Support post event reporting, insights, and recommendations for future improvements. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive messaging and attendee engagement throughout the event lifecycle. 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years experience in marketing or communication related roles.

  • 2+ years experience in event planning, event marketing, or related fields with a proven track record of successful execution.  

  • Bachelor degree or certificate in Marketing and/or event planning.

  • Excellent communication, organizational, and project management skills. 

  • Ability to work independently while being an effective team collaborator. 

  • Strong attention to detail, problems solving capability, and comfort managing multiple projects simultaneously.  

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships with internal teams, external partners, and vendors. 

  • Good writing and verbal skills.

  • Self-starter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.

  • Proficiency with core tools such as Microsoft Office; exposure to Adobe Workfront, CVent, or event and workflow specific tools is an asset.

Salary range is expected to be between

$59,100.00 CAD - $98,500.00 CAD

Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance. The actual salary will vary depending on local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training.
