The analyst must work closely with different manufacturing departments to fully understand the processes as well as their needs. It must improve inventory availability, inventory, inventory rounds as well as control of manufacturing processes through these rigorous analyzes. The process and system analyst will play a key role in connection with the integrated management system, he knows how it works and can guide other stakeholders. He must help collect data and perform detailed analyzes to ensure that the processes in place are maintained. He will take corrective actions with the stakeholders in the process. The process and system analyst will interpret data and suggest tool and process improvements. He will work up the supply chain and communicate with the players in the supply chain.
Responsibilities
Prepares analyzes to understand the origin of the inventory and target improvement projects
Builds reports / performance indicators helping the planning-inventory team to improve the various processes
Support and manage improvement projects
Prepares analyzes, suggests and implements solutions to improve processes directly or indirectly affecting the inventory
Supports system activities related to manufacturing activities
Works closely with the purchasing, finance, warehouse, engineering and planning departments
Provides control over system transactions
Prepares financial analyzes
Prepares and facilitates meetings
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Industrial Engineering or Operations Management
At least three years of relevant experience or training in the field, preferably in inventory management, planning, and logistics
In-depth knowledge and understanding of Microsoft Office (especially Excel)
Ability to automate reports using tools such as Power Query. (SQL and Python are a plus)
Ability to identify problems, gather information, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to write reports, answer questions, and present information to various stakeholders in the process (purchasing, warehouse, planners, project manager, etc.)
Strong communication skills with leadership are essential
Ability to interpret a variety of technical and non-technical instructions and handle multiple concrete and abstract variables simultaneously.
Familiarity with an integrated management system, preferably Oracle
Ability to perform duties effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitask, and meet deadlines independently.
Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
