About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established national retail organization, is seeking a Manager, In-Store Communications, Customer Service & Jumpstart to join their team. This role sits at the intersection of communications, customer experience, and community impact, playing a key part in shaping how teams connect, perform, and engage across a large retail network.

You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders, field teams, and leadership to drive meaningful communication strategies, enhance customer satisfaction, and lead impactful fundraising initiatives. This is a highly visible role where your ability to influence, collaborate, and execute will directly impact both employee experience and business performance.

Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll lead the development and execution of in-store communication strategies that drive clarity, engagement, and brand alignment
  • In this role, you’ll oversee customer service operations, optimizing processes, tools, and performance to enhance satisfaction
  • You’ll analyze feedback and KPIs, translating insights into actionable improvements across communications and customer experience
  • You’ll manage platforms and vendor relationships, ensuring seamless delivery of messaging and tools to field teams
  • You’ll drive annual fundraising initiatives, partnering with internal teams to deliver on community impact goals

Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in communications, customer experience, or retail environments
  • Strong background in developing and executing communication strategies
  • Experience working with or managing customer service or call centre functions
  • Proven ability to analyze data, track KPIs, and drive performance improvements
  • Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with platforms such as Zipline or similar tools is an asset
