The Senior Manager Human Performance Research and Development will lead human performance research that directly supports Canadian Armed Forces occupations by translating operational needs into evidence-based standards, programs and decision-ready results. You’ll lead a team that designs and implements research methodology to develop and deliver innovative assessment solutions at scale.
Education, Certifications and Licenses
Master’s degree in Human Kinetics, or a related field, AND several years of experience in planning, developing and managing Human Performance programs
AND
Clinical Exercise Physiologist Certification (CSEP-CEP)
Experience
In planning, conducting, and managing research in human kinetics
In the research and development of physical fitness standards
In preparing proposals for human performance projects
In developing research hypotheses, designs, and methodologies
In planning, coordinating and managing data collection activities in laboratory and field settings
In conducting advanced literature searches
In statistical analysis and using statistical software programs
In developing selection assessment centres
In managing a human performance laboratory
In developing, producing, and publishing scientific and informational materials for human performance programs and physical fitness standards
In analyzing and synthesizing information
In prioritizing and managing issues
In presenting reports and findings at professional conferences
In budget management and administration

This is a hybrid position with an assigned work location allowing the employee to work partly from a corporate office and partly from a home office in accordance with the CFMWS Flexible Work Options Policy, and with approval from the direct manager.
