We have an exciting leadership opportunity within the Legal Services Division (Family and Surrogate Court Litigation team (“FASCL”) for a director to lead a team of civil crown counsel in delivering high-quality legal services and strategic advice to Child and Family Services, Assisted Living and Social Services, and Justice. This role is ideal for a seasoned legal professional who thrives in a complex, fast-paced environment and is passionate about shaping legal and policy outcomes at a senior level.

A Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (JD).
In addition, you must have at least eleven (11) years of legal experience.
For Law degrees obtained outside Canada, proof of accreditation from the National Committee on Accreditation (NCA) is required. You must be an active member or must have immediate eligibility for full membership with the Law Society of Alberta.

Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week.
