About the Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity to join a leading Canadian retail and supply chain organization in a pivotal leadership role focused on yard operations and fleet support. You’ll guide a team responsible for optimizing Yard Management Systems (YMS), fleet coordination, and operational performance across a complex distribution network.

In this role, you’ll help shape the future of logistics operations by driving automation, improving system performance, and enabling data-driven decision-making. Your work will directly impact efficiency, cost control, and service reliability across a high-volume, fast-moving environment.

Your Responsibilities

• You’ll lead a team of YMS superusers, analysts, and vehicle controllers to ensure operational excellence.
• You’ll drive automation and system enhancements to improve workflows, reporting, and data accuracy.
• You’ll oversee yard operations, shunt control, and fleet coordination in a multi-shift environment.
• You’ll partner with cross-functional teams to align priorities and support strategic initiatives.
• You’ll present insights, manage vendor performance, and support financial and operational decision-making.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of supply chain, fleet, or logistics leadership experience
• Strong knowledge of yard operations, fleet asset management, or transportation systems
• Proven ability to lead teams in a dynamic, high-volume environment
• Experience with system optimization, reporting tools, and operational analytics
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across functions
