Job Description:

Note: These are part-time temporary Faculty positions for up to 6 hours per week. Start and end dates to be determined.

Note: This position is located at 1001 Fanshawe College Blvd London, ON N5V 1W2.

The Lawrence Kinlin School of Business is looking to build a pool of applicants to fill vacancies as they arise, succession plan, and expand our current part-time faculty team. Having fresh ideas and diverse experience is essential to ensuring our programs continue to be vibrant and meet industry needs.
 

We require faculty qualified to teach at the introductory through advanced levels of study across the following areas:

  • Procurement & Sourcing
  • Transportation & Logistics
  • Operations Management
  • Inventory Management
  • Quality Management

Why This Role Is Important

A Part-time Professor at Fanshawe College is responsible for providing academic leadership and for developing an effective learning environment for students. Successful candidates will teach courses in the Business - Supply Chain and Operations and Supply Chain Management - Logistics Programs in the Lawrence Kinlin School of Business, will be required to perform work within Ontario and must be available to work on campus, as required.

What You’ll Bring

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or supply chain related discipline
  • A master’s degree in a related field would be considered an asset
  • Certification in one of the following is preferred:
    • Certified Public Procurement Officer (CPPO)
    • Certified Professional Public Buyer (CPPB)
    • CITT Certified Logistics Professional
    • Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
    • Supply Chain Management Professional (SCMP)
    • NIGP‑CPP (NIGP Certified Procurement Professional)
    • National Institute of Supply Chain Leaders - Canadian Supply Chain Leaders (NISCL-CSCL)
    • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
    • Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD)
    • Professional Logistician (P. Log)
  • Minimum of five years related professional experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and communication skills with a strong commitment to academic excellence and student success
  • Previous college teaching experience and knowledge of curriculum design and student evaluations are assets
  • Ability to relate effectively to a wide variety of learners
  • Strong technical/computer skills and familiarity with educational technologies are required
