Calian is proud to continue a long-standing contractual relationship with the Department of National Defence (DND) to provide healthcare services to the Canadian Armed Forces. Through the Health Care Provider Contract, Calian employs health care professionals across Canada who are integral to supporting the health and wellbeing of our military members.
Calian is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse RPN with OR experience to assist surgeons, internal medicine specialists, physicians with endoscopy, cystoscopy, and minor surgery procedures. Their work includes providing patient care during all aspects of procedure, preparing for procedures, assisting with procedures, cleaning procedure room, cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing equipment. OR Tech works under the direction of surgeon internal medicine specialist, physicians during procedures and act as a part of the health care team.

Infirmier(ère) auxiliaire autorisé(e) (IAA) possédant de l’expérience en salle d’opération pour assister les chirurgiens, les spécialistes en médecine interne et les médecins lors d’endoscopies, de cystoscopies et d’interventions chirurgicales mineures. Ses responsabilités comprennent la prestation de soins aux patients à toutes les étapes de la procédure, la préparation de la salle et du matériel, l’assistance pendant les interventions, ainsi que le nettoyage, la désinfection et la stérilisation de l’équipement. L’IAA en salle d’opération travaille sous la direction du chirurgien, du spécialiste en médecine interne ou du médecin pendant les procédures et fait partie intégrante de l’équipe de soins de santé.
