Supervisor – Security Operations

Role Overview

As a Supervisor, you will play a key leadership role in supporting frontline operations and ensuring service excellence. You will be responsible for leading a large team, providing day‑to‑day guidance, mentorship, and performance oversight while maintaining strong customer relationships and operational standards.

This role requires a hands‑on leader who is confident managing people, addressing challenges proactively, and supporting both employees and clients. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong judgment, technical competence, and the ability to adapt to changing operational needs while fostering a positive and professional team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and support a team of approximately 25 Security Professionals
  • Provide coaching, mentorship, and performance management within a security environment
  • Ensure consistent adherence to post orders, procedures, and company policies
  • Maintain high standards of professional security presence, customer service, and conduct
  • Oversee daily security operations, including staffing, scheduling, and coverage
  • Support incident response, reporting, and escalation as required
  • Apply strong technical and operational security knowledge to decision‑making
  • Participate in interviews via Microsoft Teams, as required

Required Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience leading a team of 25 or more employees
  • Minimum one (1) year experience in the Security industry
  • Valid Alberta Security Guard License
  • Valid Standard or Basic First Aid Certification
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage security teams effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to enforce standards while maintaining a positive team culture
  • Strong customer service focus within a security or client‑facing environment
  • Flexible availability, including occasional evenings, weekends, and nights
