Location: Toronto, ON, Hybrid, 2 days on-site
Compensation: $120,000- $130,000 Annually +Bonus

About the Opportunity
Our client, a private equity-backed organization within the software and technology space, is seeking a Controller to join their growing finance team. This role sits at the center of a dynamic, acquisition-driven environment, where you will play a key part in building scalable financial processes and ensuring strong financial integrity across a portfolio of businesses.
You will work closely with senior finance leadership and cross-functional teams, supporting multiple entities and contributing to post-acquisition integration and reporting. Your Responsibilities
• You’ll lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities
• You’ll oversee multi-entity and multi-currency consolidations, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• In this role, you’ll manage intercompany transactions, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• You’ll support post-acquisition integrations and help standardize accounting processes
• You’ll partner with senior leadership to deliver insights and support decision-making
• You’ll maintain and strengthen internal controls, compliance, and audit readiness
Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including time within a Big 4 environment
• Active CPA designation required
• Strong experience with multi-entity consolidations and complex accounting structures
• Exposure to private equity, high-growth, or acquisition-driven environments is preferred
• Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to operate in a fast-paced environment
