The Manager, Business Agreements and Performance is responsible for leading divisional business services that support the effective operation of Alberta’s provincial parks system. This role provides leadership and oversight for business agreements, procurement frameworks, performance measurement, information management, and data analytics that are critical to divisional operations and service delivery.
Reporting to the Director of Business Services and Intelligence, the Manager leads a multidisciplinary team and works closely with regional and branch leadership to ensure consistent, compliant, and effective procurement and contract management practices. The position provides strategic advice and executive‑level briefings, develops tools and processes to support revenue contracts, and ensures strong governance and accountability across business agreements. This role operates with a high degree of autonomy.
The role also provides divisional leadership for information management and performance reporting, including the development and oversight of systems, dashboards, and analytics that inform decision‑making, operational planning, and continuous improvement.
The provincial parks system supports a variety of purposes and multiple uses, including conseration, recreation, economic development and tourism. This role supports those goals with some of the key responsibilities outlined below.

University degree in a related field (Public administration, Environment, park or recreation management or municipal management) supplemented with a minimum of Four years progressive experience, preferably in park and municipal operations, financial management, contract administration and/or project management.
Related experience or education may be considered as an equivalency on a one for one basis.
Note: A valid Class 5 driver`s license is required.

This is a full-time permanent opportunity in Edmonton.
This position works Monday to Friday, 8:15 AM-4:30 PM, 36.25 hours a week.
A written assessment will be conducted as part of the interview process.
