Agilus is recruiting for a WCB & Enterprise Risk Specialist in the Construction Industry in Calgary, Alberta. We’re seeking a WCB & Risk Specialist to lead structured risk and claims management across workers’ comp, insured claims, and enterprise risk. Be part of a team committed to improving safety, reducing risk, and driving strong business outcomes A typical day: Manage and adjudicate claims with WCB Alberta, WorkSafeBC, and insurance carriers Track, report, and address organizational risk exposures with leadership Build clear policies and processes in evolving risk and claims areas Partner with Safety, Legal, Procurement, and Insurance teams for alignment Support supplier and subcontractor risk review and compliance efforts Deliver strategic risk insights aligned with claims and operational safety Hold internal teams and external partners accountable for timelines, outcomes, and costs The successful candidate brings: Post-secondary education required; risk management certifications an asset Experience in high field-risk industries (e.g., industrial, construction, operational) Comfortable navigating ambiguity and building structured solutions Self-motivated; able to work across teams with minimal supervision Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills Solid knowledge of workers’ compensation boards, regulations, and timelines Familiar with workers’ compensation and insurance claims processes Proficient in MS Office, risk tracking, and case management tools This posting is for an active opening.
