Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Location: Etobicoke (onsite 5 days/week), plus domestic and some US travel required 
Salary: 85-90K base salary plus annual bonus subject to KPIs and company performance

About the Opportunity

Our client, a well-established Canadian manufacturer in the consumer packaged goods sector, is seeking a relationship-driven sales professional to join their growing team. This organization partners with global brands to deliver high-quality products, combining innovation, speed to market, and operational excellence to meet evolving customer needs.

As a Key Accounts Manager reporting to the VP of Sales, you will act as a trusted partner to customers across North America, supporting both existing relationships and new business development. Working closely with internal teams such as project management, operations, and leadership, you will help ensure customer solutions are delivered seamlessly while contributing to long-term growth and market expansion.

Your Responsibilities

Responsibilities may include but may not be limited to the following:

  • You’ll build trusted relationships with clients, acting as a key point of contact to strengthen long-term partnerships and enhance the B2B experience
  • In this role, you’ll coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer solutions are delivered on time and aligned with client expectations
  • You’ll maintain updated knowledge of company products and services and discover customer needs to match them with appropriate company products and services
  • You’ll identify new commercial opportunities, developing prospective customer relationships to drive revenue growth across North America, and you’ll action company-supplied leads in a timely manner
  • You’ll resolve client issues and recommend process improvements for better service delivery
  • You’ll prepare proposals, quotes, and pricing in line with company guidelines
  • You’ll maintain accurate records of customer activities, account progress, and inventory-related information to support internal reporting and planning
  • You’ll collaborate with project management to onboard new clients and support ongoing account development
  • You’ll participate in trade shows, training sessions, meetings, and industry events to remain informed on company offerings, market trends, and competitor activity
  • You’ll maintain compliance with all applicable health, occupational, environmental, and food safety regulations, as well as legal and company policies. You’ll ensure adherence to the Company’s Integrated Management Systems, including but not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety, and GMP standards

Skills and Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience in sales or account management within the consumer-packaged goods industry, ideally within food and beverage
  • University degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field
  • G license, clean driver's abstract, and access to a vehicle required
  • Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM tools for tracking and reporting sales activity
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% of the time (primarily domestic, with occasional international travel)
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated reliability, professionalism, and a proactive, collaborative mindset
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sound business judgment
