About the Opportunity

Altis Recruitment is partnering with a leading national retail organization to hire a National Project Coordinator. In this role, you will support the successful delivery of construction and development projects across a national portfolio. Working closely with project managers, vendors, and cross-functional teams, you will help ensure projects move forward smoothly, from early coordination through to reporting and project completion.

This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to large-scale retail development initiatives while building relationships with internal partners and national vendors. You will play a key role in project coordination, governance, and reporting, while supporting enterprise transformation initiatives and helping leadership stay informed on progress, risks, and milestones.

Your Responsibilities

• You’ll coordinate administrative and operational support for multiple construction projects, ensuring timelines, documentation, and deliverables stay on track.
• In this role, you’ll maintain accurate project records and documentation, so information remains organized, current, and audit ready.
• You’ll collaborate with internal partners and external vendors to support project planning, material coordination, and change management processes.
• You’ll lead vendor coordination activities, including onboarding, compliance tracking, and communication across national vendor partners.
• You’ll help facilitate bid processes and governance activities, ensuring submissions, documentation, and approvals meet internal standards.
• You’ll develop national reporting for senior leadership, providing insights on project progress, vendor performance, risks, and key milestones.

Skills and Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in construction coordination, project management, engineering, design, or a related field.
• Post-secondary education in construction management, engineering, business, or a related discipline.
• Experience working in commercial real estate, retail development, or construction project environments.
• Strong organizational, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
• Experience supporting reporting, analytics, or CAPEX tracking is considered an asset.
• Familiarity with project management office (PMO) processes or enterprise project delivery frameworks is an asset.
