As a Security Team Lead, you will be leading a team of guards, ensuring that security operations run smoothly and providing exceptional customer service. You will work with people from all shifts in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities for Security Team Lead

  • Lead and supervise a team of security guards across assigned locations/shifts.
  • Develop and maintain duty rosters, shift schedules, and task assignments.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with company policies, security protocols, and regulatory requirements.
  • Train new security personnel and provide ongoing coaching and performance evaluations.
  • Conduct regular patrols and inspections to ensure all areas are secure.
  • Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, or emergencies and document detailed reports.
  • Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
  • Maintain records of daily activities, incident reports, and investigations.
  • Conduct risk assessments and recommend security improvements.
  • Ensure the security team presents a professional image at all times.
  • All other related duties

Qualifications for {Skill} Security Guard

  • Be authorized to work in Canada
  • Valid Alberta security guard license 
  • 1 to 3 years security superviosr experience 
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of security operations, safety practices, and emergency response.
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions.
  • Basic computer skills for report writing and scheduling.
  • Available to work 12 hour rotational shifts
