About the Opportunity
Altis Recruitment is partnering with a public sector organization to support a key data and AI initiative that will help shape the future of analytics-driven decision making. This team is responsible for designing scalable data platforms and advanced analytics solutions that enable operational insight, workforce planning, and performance intelligence across a complex organization.

In this role, you will work closely with technical leaders and business stakeholders to architect modern data solutions using Microsoft Fabric and Power BI while helping prepare enterprise data environments for emerging AI capabilities. You will contribute to building sustainable data structures and supporting Large Language Model (LLM) initiatives that aim to unlock new insights and efficiencies across the organization.

Your Responsibilities
• You’ll integrate SaaS system data and external reports into enterprise data environments and reporting frameworks.
• You’ll design and manage Microsoft Fabric data structures and Power BI semantic models that support enterprise analytics initiatives.
• You’ll collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into practical data architecture and analytics solutions.
• You’ll prepare and structure datasets that support emerging AI and Large Language Model (LLM) initiatives.
• You’ll help ensure data solutions remain simple, scalable, and sustainable while aligning with enterprise data standards.
• You’ll contribute to improving data integration processes and help guide the team on best practices for modern analytics platforms.

Skills and Qualifications
• 5+ years of experience in data analytics, data engineering, or analytics solution development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI semantic modeling.
• Experience integrating data from SaaS platforms and building enterprise data pipelines.
• Experience preparing and structuring data for AI or machine learning initiatives, including LLM-related projects considered an asset.
• Strong ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
