About the Opportunity
Our client, a leading organization within the healthcare and research sector, is seeking a Program Officer to support the operations of a specialized research program focused on brain health and clinical innovation. This role offers the opportunity to work alongside highly respected researchers, physicians, and operational leaders who are advancing important work in the mental health and neuroscience space.
In this role, you will help keep the program running smoothly by coordinating administrative operations, supporting leadership, and ensuring key processes and documentation stay organized. You will work closely with the program director, operations leadership, and research teams, helping ensure that trainees, staff, and projects are supported in a well-structured and collaborative environment.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll serve as a key administrative partner to program leadership, supporting directors and managers with daily operational coordination.
In this role, you’ll organize and coordinate meetings, evaluations, and program activities while ensuring schedules and documentation remain up to date.
You’ll manage onboarding activities for students, trainees, and new staff, including gathering documentation and supporting registration processes.
You’ll liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to coordinate information, scheduling, and operational tasks across departments.
You’ll assist with reporting activities, gathering and compiling program data to support leadership updates and external reporting requirements.
You’ll contribute to the smooth running of the program by managing documentation, communications, and general administrative priorities.
Skills and Qualifications
2+ years of experience in an administrative, program coordination, or operations support role within a research, healthcare, academic, or non-profit environment
Strong organizational and project coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with experience supporting senior leaders or directors
Experience coordinating meetings, schedules, and program documentation
High attention to detail with the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools such as Outlook, Word, and Excel
A proactive and resourceful approach, with the ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams
