As Lead ILS Specialist-Planned Maintenance System (PMS) Database, you will lead the PMS team to ensure all required data is captured and integrated to build a robust PMS aligned with client requirements. This role involves close collaboration with engineering, planning, production, quality, and safety teams. More specifically, you will:
• Work closely with engineers, design agents, and supply chain personnel to capture maintenance data from equipment specifications.
• Lead the team in preparing and populating maintenance and operational data in the client’s format.
• Maintain the Master Equipment List (MEL) and ensure compliance with Asset Breakdown Coding practices.
• Prepare reliability, maintainability, and sustainability data, including initial maintenance task analysis.
• Support the ILS Manager in sequencing and delivering tasks according to the integrated master schedule.
• Promote health, safety, and environmental awareness, and ensure compliance with company policies.
Qualifications
• University degree in Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a similar role.
• Bilingualism (French and English). Proficiency in English is required for this position, as you will be required to interact with our English-speaking clients, partners, and suppliers.
• Knowledge of recognized PMS system, ABS coding (CCR 3978), and Maximo software.
• Seagoing experience as chief or second engineer, or significant shipyard experience, is an asset.
• Maintenance and logistics management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
• Knowledge of vessel operations and maintenance systems.
• Familiarity with ILS standards and practices.
• Successful completion of the investigation and security clearance process required by the federal government’s Contract Security Program.
