New Accounts Representative

Our client in the financial services sector is seeking a detail-oriented New Accounts Representative to join their Registered Plans team. In this fast-paced environment, you will play an important role in supporting the onboarding of new advisors while ensuring a seamless experience for clients and internal stakeholders. Your Responsibilities
You’ll manage client requests and transactions related to registered investment products, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely completion.
In this role, you’ll support the administration of RRSP, TFSA, and RRIF accounts, including account setup, maintenance, and updates.
You’ll facilitate the creation and ongoing management of RRIF accounts while ensuring minimum distribution requirements are met.
You’ll administer recurring financial events such as Pre-Authorized Contributions and Systematic Withdrawal Plans.
You’ll reconcile control accounts and review operational reports to ensure balances and documentation meet internal and regulatory standards.
You’ll respond to advisor and client inquiries, providing clear and professional support related to registered products.
You’ll contribute to process improvements and support initiatives that enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
Skills and Qualifications
2+ years of registered products administrative experience within financial services
Post-secondary education in business, finance, or a related field
Strong communication and organizational skills with a client-focused mindset
Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Knowledge of client tax reporting related to registered plans
Experience with Dataphile considered an asset
