Purpose
The Senior Manager, Brand & Programs leads and oversees Brand & Programs, Scotia Global Asset Management in Canada ensuring business strategies, plans and initiatives are executed / delivered in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will be involved in:
• Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
• Works closely with partners in Canadian Banking Marketing and Brand Management to implement the overall brand strategy for marketing campaigns and programs
• Working closely with the Global Brand team, Oversees an effective brand marketing approach across several ScotiaGAM brands, including, but not limited to: Dynamic ScotiaFunds and Scotia Global Asset Management
• Oversees the timely execution of product campaigns, event marketing, and other strategic marketing initiatives
• Drives a results-driven culture by overseeing media strategy, on-going monitoring and analytics to optimize strategy to improve ROI
• Champions a high-performance environment and demonstrates a commitment to Scotiabank’s values: accountability, passion, integrity and respect. • Creates an environment in which his/her team pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct, and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.
• Builds a high-performance environment and implements a people strategy that attracts, retains, develops, and motivates their team by fostering an inclusive work environment. Uses a coaching mindset and behaviors; communicating vison/values/business strategy; and managing succession and development planning for the team.

Dimensions
• Primarily supporting SGAM brands in Canada as well as consultative product and brand support
• Familiarity with competitive landscape, advertising and product offerings
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed? We’d love to work with you if you have the following:
• Minimum 8 years of marketing experience, preferably in the financial services industry. Advertising industry experience is a plus.
• Understand and apply a deep knowledge of the Asset Management and Wealth industry including regulatory changes, product trends, analytics, various distribution channels, and manufacturing landscape.
• Drive the team towards data-driven, quantitative and qualitative marketing and branding methodologies and define points of competitive differentiation.
• Superior knowledge of developing and executing integrated marketing and communication plans including the ability to provide creative direction and oversight.
• Thorough knowledge of design and brand principles, building business strategies, and media planning.
Working Conditions
• Work in a standard office-based environment; non-standard hours are a common occurrence. Limited travel domestically.
