Assisted Living and Social Services (ALSS) provides programs and services for seniors, families, and communities, and helps Albertans access disability services, continuing care, financial supports, affordable housing, services for the homeless, and other social-based programs. Reporting to the SPEC Supervisor, the Training Coordinator will plan, develop, and deliver training and development initiatives that support onboarding, system changes, operational updates, and project-based training across Common Service Delivery
(CSD). The position is responsible for creating and maintaining training materials, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring all training aligns with legislation, policy, and business processes.
You will work closely with trainers, subject matter experts, supervisors, managers, and project teams to assess training needs, create curriculum, support branch-wide change initiatives, and evaluate training effectiveness. This role requires strong planning, collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills.

This competition will be used to fill 1 full-time permanent position. The position is remote, and the successful candidate can be located anywhere within Alberta.
Hours of work are Monday to Friday – 36.25 hours per week.
