Compensation: $130,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on experience and skills

​Foster Park Animal Hospital is seeking a skilled Veterinarian, DVM, to step into a lead surgery role. If you're ready to elevate your surgical expertise and mentor others while shaping the future of our practice, this is the role for you. Join us and take your surgical career to the next level!

VCA Canada Credit Valley Animal Hospital will lead the implementation of the Global Veterinary Bridge (“The Bridge”) program within Ontario. This program was designed with the purpose of preparing internationally trained professionals for their Clinical Proficiency Exam (CPE), before placement in a permanent home hospital.

As a successful candidate, you understand the importance of building relationships with our pet parents and our support team to provide the best care possible. General Requirements:

  • A valid full veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada

  • 3+ years of experience in soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice.

  • Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents, and the community

  • A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey

  • Interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues

  • A love for all companion animals!!
