    '- You have some hands‑on cooking experience (restaurant)
    - You have experience serving food and working directly with customers
    - You understand basic food safety (expiry dates, cross‑contamination, hygiene, SafeCheck/FOODSAFE BC)
    - You’re reliable in fast‑paced, physically demanding environments
    - You’re comfortable with food prep, cleaning, and teamwork
    - You have a positive, can‑do attitude and enjoy helping customers

    Your responsibilities

    '- Assist with basic cooking and food preparation
    - Serve customers and provide a friendly, helpful experience
    - Maintain food quality, freshness, and presentation
    - Keep all food areas clean, organized, and safe
    - Follow all IKEA food safety and waste‑reduction policies
    - Answer customer questions about ingredients and menu items
    - Support teammates during peak times
    - Learn IKEA’s Swedish food products, specials, and prep standards
    - Help meet daily/weekly sales goals



    First 3 Months (Important)

    Your first 3 months will focus on:

    50% dishwashing
    50% sanitation, cleaning, and workstation upkeep

    This ensures you learn IKEA Coquitlam’s Food safety, hygiene, and operational standards before moving into broader food‑prep responsibilities.
