About the Opportunity
An established organization is seeking a proactive HR / Recruitment Coordinator to provide operational HR and recruitment support during a high-volume period. This contract opportunity offers exposure to multiple areas of human resources, including talent acquisition coordination, HR business partner support, and HR project work.
Working closely with the Talent Acquisition team and HR Business Partners, the HR / Recruitment Coordinator will help ensure recruitment processes run efficiently while also supporting key HR initiatives and day-to-day employee lifecycle activities.
This role is well suited to an early-career HR professional hands-on experience in both recruitment coordination and HR operations.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate telephone screens, interviews, and candidate communications across multiple recruitment streams
Support the end-to-end recruitment process by scheduling interviews and maintaining candidate records
Partner with HR Business Partners to assist with onboarding activities, HR documentation, and employee lifecycle processes
Maintain accurate data within the applicant tracking system (ATS) and support recruitment reporting and metrics tracking
Assist with HR initiatives, projects, and process improvements across the HR function
Provide administrative and operational support to ensure smooth day-to-day HR operations
Act as a liaison between Talent Acquisition, HR teams, and business stakeholders to facilitate efficient workflows
Qualifications & Experience
Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
1–3 years of experience in HR coordination, recruitment coordination, or HR administration
Experience supporting recruitment processes, including interview scheduling and candidate communication
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and HRIS platforms
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
