We are seeking an experienced MarTech Engineer with deep expertise in MarTech platforms, such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud and Adobe Experience Platform and a strong understanding of enterprise architecture principles. This role will focus on designing, developing, and integrating scalable solutions that enhance customer engagement, enable data-driven marketing, and deliver personalized experiences at scale.
You will collaborate with marketing, sales, and technology teams to deliver robust MarTech solutions that align with business objectives while adhering to best practices in architecture, security, and compliance. In addition to hands-on development, you will contribute to solution architecture, integration strategy, and performance optimization across multiple Personalization systems (MarTech, Decisioning, Data Pipeline.
Is this role right for you? In this role, you will:
• Partner with architects and technical leads to design endtoend MarTech solutions across platforms such as Adobe Experience Platform, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, and Salesforce Marketing Cloud
• Define integration patterns, data flows, and security models for multi-cloud and third-party integrations
• Ensure solutions meet scalability, performance, and compliance requirements
• Configure and deploy solutions within AEP (Real-Time CDP, Journey Optimizer) and across Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics for experimentation, measurement, and personalization
• Design and implement audience segmentation, orchestration logic, decisioning rules, tags, schemas, and personalization frameworks across the Adobe Experience Cloud
• Contribute to SFMC development work as needed, including configuration of automation workflows, segmentation, and dynamic content (light AMPscript, SQL, server-side scripting)
• Integrate MarTech platforms with CRM systems, customer data platforms, web/app experiences, analytics tools, and enterprise APIs
• Build and manage APIs, ETL processes, and real-time integrations between AEP, Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, SFMC, and enterprise systems
• Implement data governance, synchronization, and compliance with privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, etc.)
• Optimize data models for segmentation, personalization, and reporting
• Establish and enforce development standards, naming conventions, and documentation practices
• Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to security and performance best practices
• Support CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes
Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We'd love to work with you if you have:
• 5+ years of MarTech engineering, marketing automation development, or personalization platforms
• Strong knowledge of Marketing Cloud Studios and Builders, AMPscript, SQL, and automation workflows
• Hands-on experience with Adobe Experience Platform (Real-Time CDP, Journey Optimizer, or Offer Decisioning)
• Practical experience with Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics (audiences, tagging, experimentation, measurement) Experience designing and implementing MarTech integrations with CRMs, CDPs, analytics stacks, and enterprise systems
• Understanding of data modeling, segmentation, and customer journey orchestration
• Familiarity with architectural principles for cloud-based solutions
• Salesforce Certified Marketing Cloud Developer and/or Architect certifications
• Experience with CI/CD tools for Salesforce (Gearset, Copado, Jenkins)
• Knowledge of middleware platforms (Mulesoft, Informatica)
• Experience in marketing automation or CRM development in a large-scale environment
• Strong problem-solving and architectural thinking skills
• Ability to design scalable, maintainable, and secure solutions
• Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment balancing multiple priorities
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to high-quality deliverables
