Compensation: $21.00 to $38.00 per hour, depending on experience and skills

Highlands Animal Hospital has an opportunity for a dedicated Registered Veterinary Technologist (RVT) to join our established network of highly skilled professionals. You will have an opportunity to use your skills to the fullest potential!

We are a small, close-knit team, and we would be delighted to welcome a new RVT graduate. If you are just starting your career, we are happy to provide mentorship and guidance to help you grow and thrive. Our supportive environment ensures you’ll have the opportunity to learn, develop your skills, and become an integral part of our team. Additionally, we are open to considering non-credentialed veterinary technicians who are passionate about advancing their skills and contributing to our team.

  • Have completed a Veterinary Technologist or Animal Health Technologist program. Preparing to write your VTNE?  We can help!

  • New graduates with knowledge of physical examinations, patient assessment, catheter placement, anesthesia monitoring, radiology, venipuncture, and pharmacy - welcome to apply!  We love growing new graduates!

  • Surgical preparation, assisting and patient recovery.

  • Ability to keep detailed and accurate patient records.

  • Compassionate care for our hospitalized patients and their pet parents

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

  • Ability to problem-solve or the ability to ask clarifying questions to help you find solutions.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues and pet parents.  

  • Passion to learn more within the role.
