We are seeking a Sr. Contracts Specialist professional to join our clients dynamic team Agilus is recruiting for a Sr. Contracts Specialist in the oil and gas sector in Calgary, Alberta. The Senior Contracts Specialist is a key business partner to internal operational teams, providing expert guidance and full lifecycle support for operational contracts. This role focuses on ongoing, day-to-day operational contracting Total rewards: $130.00 annually Permanent Position starting ASAP Salary: $130K based on experience Monday to Friday in office 4 weeks vacation + 4 flex days annually Full benefits from day one $330/month transportation allowance Every third Friday off Great opportunity to grow and advance in your professional SCM career Responsibilities: Serve as a strategic partner to internal operational groups, understanding their ongoing contracting needs and advising on the most appropriate contracting approaches. Plan, draft, and administer Requests for Proposal (RFPs), including evaluation, scoring, and recommendation processes. Manage the full lifecycle of contracts—from initial planning through execution, amendments, renewals, and final close-out or retirement. Conduct annual vendor performance reviews, monitor KPIs, and ensure service levels and deliverables are met. Provide expert guidance on contract structures, commercial frameworks, and procurement processes. uidance on contract structures, commercial frameworks, and procurement processes. Ensure compliance with Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures, service levels, and performance expectations with vendors. Build strong relationships with business units, providing clear guidance on commercial considerations, risk mitigation, and procurement best practices. You bring: 10–15+ years of progressive experience in contracts management, supply chain, or procurement roles Strong background in operational contracts (services, maintenance, recurring operational support) Demonstrated experience managing full contract lifecycles, including RFP development, negotiation, execution, and close-out. Proven ability to manage multiple vendors and support long-term operational relationships Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and relationship-building skills. Experience mentoring or coaching team members is considered an asset ERP systems experience This posting is for an active opening. Ready!
