Agilus is recruiting for a Scheduler in the Oil & Energy Industry in Saint John, New Brunswick. Our client is seeking an experienced Scheduler to support a large-scale technology transformation initiative. The Scheduler will lead schedule development workshops, maintain weekly schedule updates, and stay deeply engaged with project teams to understand dependencies and interconnections. This role requires strong communication skills, expert MS Project capability, and experience coordinating multidisciplinary stakeholders. Contract runs immediately through July 2026. Total rewards: $38.00 - $73.00 hourly T4: $38-50/hr IC: $56-73/hr Opportunity to support a major project. Potential for contract extension. Preferred rates for benefit coverage available. A typical day: Lead and facilitate multi-week schedule development workshops. Develop, manage, and maintain the integrated project schedule. Perform weekly schedule updates and produce progress reports. Identify critical path items, risks, and schedule impacts. Collaborate closely with project teams to understand cross-functional dependencies. Participate actively in project meetings to maintain full situational awareness. Provide schedule insights to support decision-making and planning. Ensure schedule management aligns with project controls standards and governance. Successful candidates will have: Extensive experience as a Scheduler or Project Controls professional. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project. Strong communication and facilitation skills (highly important). Experience with IT or technology-transformation project schedules. Ability to manage schedules involving multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders. Strong understanding of critical path, dependencies, and project lifecycle. High level of engagement with project teams and willingness to integrate deeply into workflows. Availability for 75–100% FTE, with this engagement as top priority.
