About the Opportunity
Our client, a well-established non-profit organization in London, Ontario, is seeking a friendly and dependable Receptionist to join their welcoming team. This role sits at the heart of a busy community-focused environment where compassion, professionalism, and teamwork are valued every day.
You will be part of a supportive reception team that helps ensure visitors, staff, and community partners have a smooth and positive experience. The organization works closely with caseworkers, social workers, and individuals accessing services, making the front desk an important touchpoint that helps keep operations running smoothly while supporting meaningful work in the community.

Your Responsibilities
You’ll greet visitors warmly and create a welcoming first impression for everyone entering the organization
In this role, you’ll answer and direct incoming calls while supporting inquiries from staff, partners, and community members
You’ll coordinate scheduling tasks and provide administrative assistance to the team.
You’ll help organize transportation such as taxi bookings for individuals accessing services
You’ll maintain front desk organization and support daily office operations alongside the reception team.
Skills and Qualifications
6 months or more of administrative or reception experience
Completion of a post-secondary education in office administration or a related field is preferred
Ability to type at least 45 words per minute with 90% accuracy
Friendly, approachable, and comfortable interacting with diverse individuals
Strong organizational and communication skills
Ability to work in a structured on-site environment from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday
