The team is responsible for deploying, managing and maintaining finance technology solutions within Scotiabank catering to various business lines and enterprise finance functions

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

 

  • Identify business requirements and align them to Oracle EPM cloud applications functionality.
  • Configure & support Oracle EPM Cloud applications - ARCS, FCCS, EDMCS and PCMCS based on requirements.
  • Understanding of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, EPM user's access and security management within OCI.
  • Provide functional application leadership and guidance regarding best practices and the functionality of the applications through all phases of an implementation.
  • Contributing to the functional and technical design, prototyping, and process design stages of implementations.
  • Understand project scope, project goals, product functionality, and desired features.
  • Evaluate customer needs/issues, analyze business processes, assist in evaluating alternatives, and determine appropriate solutions with technical staff.
  • Assist in determining level of effort and time required for delivery.
  • Documenting and performing application configuration, building integrations, designing dashboards and reports, migration and instance management.
  • Supporting configurations, reports and interfaces, testing and user training.
  • Ensure that business requirements are properly translated and satisfied in functional requirements and design. Assist with system design and data migration reviews as needed.
  • Work with other developers and provide guidance as needed.
  • Assist with development of test conditions, scripts, and test cases
  • Participate in testing, testing reviews and analysis of testing results. Assist with troubleshooting and providing resolutions.
  • Effectively partner with Finance and other IT personnel to deliver solutions
  • Resolve issues quickly and effectively to enable delivery and support of applications along with its integration with other finance technology solutions and third-party applications.


Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

 

  • 6+ years of experience as Oracle EPM consultant / Developer
  • 5 years of experience with Oracle EPM Cloud services including ARCS, FCCS, EDMCS and PCMCS including a key role in at least one new implementation
  • Experience in medium to large-scale Financials implementations involving Oracle EPM cloud applications.
  • Experience with performing configuration, building integrations, migration, designing dashboards and reports, instance management.
  • Knowledge of EPM automate administrative commands, batch scripting and understanding of working with Oracle Rest APIs
  • Should be well versed with working in Linux/Unix environment to handle batch scripts and automating EPM applications BAU tasks.
  • Knowledge of Autosys or any other jobs handling tool is a asset.
  • Strong knowledge of application implementation and testing best practices and methodologies
  • Ability to write functional requirements, use cases, and other analysis/design artifacts effectively (storyboards, screen prototypes, etc.)
  • Understanding of change management/Incident/Problem management workflow.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills along with impeccable communication skills.
  • Self-directed - works effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Fast learner and able to work to deadlines and ability to pay close attention to details.
