Total rewards: $70000.00 - $115000.00 annually Perm role Wide range of projects A typical day: Prepare detailed electrical drawings and layouts using AutoCAD, including :Power distribution systems, Lighting and lighting controls, Fire alarm and life safety systems, Grounding and bonding,Low-voltage systems (data, security, access control, AV) Assist with load calculations, panel schedules, risers, and single-line diagrams Develop construction documents from schematic design through issued-for-construction (IFC) Incorporate design changes and respond to internal and external review comments Support quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency of deliverables and assist with technical reviews and drawing checks prior to submission Coordinate electrical designs with architectural, structural, and mechanical disciplines and participate in BIM coordination and clash detection processes Support engineers during tendering and construction phases and Assist with responses to RFIs, shop drawing reviews, and site inquiries Incorporate as-built information and record drawings Successful candidates will have: Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or Electrical Design . 3+ years of experience in electrical design within an engineering consulting or AEC environment Proficiency in AutoCAD for electrical design and knowledge of power, lighting, and life safety systems Strong understanding of electrical construction documentation and coordination P.Eng is a must have for all Electrical Engineers Tenant improvement experience would be an asset This posting is for an active opening.
