Design EIT/Technologist – Support Critical Natural Gas Infrastructure Projects (1-Year Term) Agilus is recruiting for a Design Engineer-in-Training (EIT) / Technologist in the Oil and Gas industry in Calgary, Alberta. Join a growing engineering team supporting essential natural gas distribution infrastructure projects across Alberta. This role offers hands-on design work, procedure development, and project research in a collaborative environment located in downtown Calgary. Total rewards: $35.00 - $40.00 hourly Hourly pay rate of $35–$40/hr T4 One-year contract with strong possibility of extension Hybrid schedule with 4 days in office and 1 day remote Opportunity to work on meaningful, safety focused infrastructure projects Experience-building role within a multidisciplinary engineering group Supportive team including multiple EITs and mentorship opportunities Exposure to design work for aging natural gas distribution systems Central Calgary office location near 11th Ave & 8th St Responsibilities: Perform design modelling for natural gas distribution projects Develop and write technical procedures Conduct research to define project scopes Support engineering design activities for aging infrastructure Collaborate with EITs and technical staff on active projects Assist in organizing project documentation Contribute to design improvements and technical solutions Participate in team meetings and provide project updates Requirements: 2–5 years of related engineering or technical experience Engineering-in-Training (EIT) or Technologist designation in any discipline Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work effectively within a team environment Experience with design or technical modelling Project coordination or entry-level project management skills considered an asset Strong research and documentation abilities Comfort supporting projects based in rural Alberta This posting is for an active opening.
