We are currently looking for an Office Manager to join our client's team in a contract position Agilus is recruiting for an Office Manager in the Oil and Gas industry in Sherwood Park, Alberta. The Office Manager is responsible for overseeing daily office operations, ensuring a productive, well-organized, and efficient work environment. This role manages administrative functions, supports staff across departments, coordinates office logistics, and serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders Total rewards: $28.00 hourly 3-4 months contract position with a great chance of become full time 3 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday full-time in the office) Location: Sherwood Park, Edmonton Great opportunity to work within a supportive team A typical day: Creates and maintains a safe, supportive work environment Coordinates and executes overall administrative activities for the office, including printing, data entry, and any tasks supporting Operations, Business Development, and Safety Procures local PPE and operational supplies, ensuring all purchases align with client requirements Supervises the maintenance of office equipment Responsible for the facilities' day-to-day operations, including inventory and supplies Assists in arranging meetings, appointments, refreshments, and events. Supports the management of pool truck inventory and repairs, registrations, and documentation Negotiates the purchase of office supplies and furniture, office equipment, Successful candidates will have: 3-4 years of experience as an office manager Working knowledge of mail processes, such as the postage machine, 3rd party shipping Excellent MS Office Skills Strong communication skills to interact with employees and vendors in a professional manner Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Excellent planning and problem-solving skills An understanding of fleet management will be an asset. For example, how to register a vehicle, safety of vehicles Oil and gas industry experience will be a huge asset This posting is for an active opening. Let's connect!
