About the Opportunity

Our client, a nationally recognized research and advisory organization, is seeking a Senior Application Developer Lead to take technical ownership of enterprise applications and a customer-facing data platform. This is a senior-level, hands-on role where your work directly supports revenue-generating products and internal business operations.

You will collaborate closely with operations, data, and sales teams in a fast-moving environment that values adaptability and practical problem solving. Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll design, build, and maintain backend applications primarily using C# and .NET.
  • You’ll develop and support APIs and system integrations across CRM, ERP, and internal platforms.
  • You’ll take technical ownership of a customer-facing data product and ensure performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • You’ll optimize SQL databases and support data movement across systems in a hybrid Azure and Windows Server environment.
  • You’ll collaborate with business stakeholders to translate requirements into secure, scalable solutions.
  • You’ll strengthen development standards, CI/CD practices, and deployment workflows.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 6+ years of progressive software development experience, primarily in C# and .NET.
  • Strong experience with Azure, Windows Server, IIS, and SQL Server or Azure SQL.
  • Proven experience building and integrating APIs in production environments.
  • Background in product development, ideally within a small or scaling organization.
  • Experience with Python and Ruby on Rails will be nice to have
  • Computer Science or Engineering degree preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor peers and thrive in Agile or Lean environments.
