This role is responsible for planning, executing and project managing the bank’s recovery and resolution plans in alignment with regulatory requirements (OSFI and CDIC).  The incumbent will partner closely with Group Treasury, Capital Management, Global Banking and Markets, Operations, Strategic Transactions and Review, and various Business Lines to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage stakeholders, mitigate risks and ensure regulatory objectives align with business priorities.

  • Provide advice and counsel to international entities in the creation/updating of their own Recovery and Resolution Plans.
  • Support the enhancement and roll-out of the Recovery & Resolution Planning Testing Program and reporting.
  • Lead other ad-hoc Recovery and Resolution planning related projects, as required.
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursue effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational risk, regulatory compliance risk, AML/ATF risk and conduct risk, including but not limited to responsibilities under the Operational Risk Management Framework, Regulatory Compliance Risk Management Framework, AML/ATF Global Handbook and the Guidelines for Business Conduct.
  • Champion a high-performance environment and contribute to an inclusive work environment.

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? - We'd love to work with you if you have:
