The Role

 

As a Salesforce Developer you’re responsible for designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and high‑performance solutions on the Salesforce platform. This role focuses on complex workflow automation, data architecture, and system integrations that support critical front‑office and middle‑office business capabilities across Global Banking & Markets. The successful candidate will collaborate with product owners, BAs, architects, and downstream technical teams to deliver reliable, enterprise‑grade Salesforce capabilities.

 

Is this role right for you? In this role you will:

 

  • Working with Sr. Developers to Solution Design & Develop
  • Develop custom Salesforce components using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flows, and SOQL.
  • Implement scalable automation (Flows, Triggers, Orchestration) to streamline business processes.
  • Develop reusable frameworks, code libraries, and patterns to standardize development across GBME.

 

Integration Engineering

 

  • Design and maintain integration pipelines between Salesforce and external systems using REST APIs, middleware, and ETL tools (e.g., MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend).
  • Ensure data integrity and consistency across integrated platforms.
  • Support modernization and platform uplift initiatives aligned to enterprise architecture.

 

Collaboration & Delivery

 

  • Translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions.
  • Participate in code reviews, system testing, and deployment activities.
  • Work closely with architects, BAs, and cross‑functional teams to align on platform and data design.
  • Contribute to platform governance, development best practices, and COE standards.

 

Operations & Quality

 

  • Maintain high standards of code quality, performance, and reliability.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution to minimize business impact.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, design diagrams, and support materials.

 

 

Do you have the skills that will enable you to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:

  

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5+ years of hands‑on Salesforce development experience.
  • Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL, Salesforce APIs, and data modeling.
  • Experience with integration frameworks, REST services, and enterprise middleware.
  • Exposure to Java or other OOP languages is an asset.
  • Experience with ETL tools (MuleSoft, Informatica, Talend) is beneficial.
  • Salesforce certifications (Platform Developer I/II) preferred.
