Reporting to the Unit Head, Timber Auditing Unit, the Timber Production Auditor is responsible for monitoring and auditing timber production levels under timber quotas and Forest Management Agreements. This role ensures sustainability of timber resources on Crown lands through rigorous auditing, compliance evaluation, and protocol development.
As a subject matter expert in timber production monitoring and auditing, you will support consistent application of provincial standards for timber production control, accounting, and reporting. You will also provide critical guidance to field staff during investigations involving suspected non-compliance with forestry legislation.
