About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Zuora Engineer to join a dynamic team dedicated to streamlining the financial heartbeat of a rapidly growing organization. In this role, you will take ownership of the Zuora platform and the critical data pipelines that drive global financial reporting. You will work at the intersection of Finance and Engineering, ensuring that every quote, invoice, and revenue recognition rule is automated for maximum scale and precision.

You will collaborate closely with Finance, Sales Ops, and RevOps stakeholders to transform complex business needs into elegant technical solutions. This is a chance to be the go-to subject matter expert in a people-centric environment where your work directly impacts the company’s ability to remain auditable, compliant, and agile.

Your Responsibilities

You’ll lead the design and maintenance of Zuora workflows, ensuring seamless automation for billing, dunning, and collections processes.

In this role, you’ll oversee the integration between Zuora and key systems like Salesforce, Workday, and MuleSoft using robust API and webhook patterns.

You’ll build and optimize high-performance data pipelines to ingest source data into the OneData platform for advanced analytics.

You’ll partner with Finance to configure revenue recognition rules and support audit readiness through clear, traceable data flows.

You’ll automate manual operations by creating sophisticated document templates and notification alerts for key billing events

Skills and Qualifications

Mid-Senior level experience delivering technical solutions on the Zuora platform, specifically within Billing, Revenue, and Collections.

Proven expertise with Zuora APIs, Workflows, and SQL/Python for data querying and ETL/ELT pipeline development

Strong understanding of the quote-to-cash lifecycle and financial compliance standards like SOX.

Exceptional communication skills with the ability to translate technical requirements for non-technical Finance stakeholders
