About the Opportunity
Our client, a well established organization operating in a multi-entity environment, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead and support a high-volume AP function. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee the full accounts payable cycle while guiding a small team and strengthening internal controls.
You will work closely with Finance, department leaders, and external vendors to ensure timely, accurate processing and strong financial stewardship. Your Responsibilities
You’ll oversee and actively participate in the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice review, coding, 3-way matching, and payment processing.
In this role, you’ll supervise and support AP staff, allocating workload and reviewing work for accuracy and compliance.
You’ll manage vendor setup and maintenance, acting as the escalation point for inquiries and discrepancies.
You’ll support month end and year end close activities, preparing reconciliations, aging reports, and accrual summaries.
You’ll strengthen internal controls, ensure policy compliance, and recommend process improvements where needed.
Skills and Qualifications
3 to 5 years of progressive accounts payable experience, including prior supervisory or team lead exposure.
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
Hands-on experience with NetSuite and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Experience in multi-entity environments, including intercompany transactions, is an asset.
Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in high-volume settings.
