About the Opportunity

Our client, a well established organization operating in a multi-entity environment, is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Supervisor to lead and support a high-volume AP function. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will oversee the full accounts payable cycle while guiding a small team and strengthening internal controls.

You will work closely with Finance, department leaders, and external vendors to ensure timely, accurate processing and strong financial stewardship. Your Responsibilities

  • You’ll oversee and actively participate in the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice review, coding, 3-way matching, and payment processing.

  • In this role, you’ll supervise and support AP staff, allocating workload and reviewing work for accuracy and compliance.

  • You’ll manage vendor setup and maintenance, acting as the escalation point for inquiries and discrepancies.

  • You’ll support month end and year end close activities, preparing reconciliations, aging reports, and accrual summaries.

  • You’ll strengthen internal controls, ensure policy compliance, and recommend process improvements where needed.

Skills and Qualifications

  • 3 to 5 years of progressive accounts payable experience, including prior supervisory or team lead exposure.

  • Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.

  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite and strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

  • Experience in multi-entity environments, including intercompany transactions, is an asset.

  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in high-volume settings.
