The Canadian Corps of Commissionaires NB & PEI Division’s collaborative, committed, and passionate volunteer Board is seeking like-minded professionals to help guide our organization into a new era of the security industry in Canada, particularly in New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island. The ideal candidate brings knowledge and expertise which will contribute to the Division’s success through strong leadership, sound governance oversight, and clear strategic direction to support our objectives.

Whether you are an ex-military or law enforcement officer, or a leader in the private sector, Commissionaires is a great way to serve those who served our Country. Our social mandate is to provide meaningful employment that meets the needs of veterans of the Canadian Armed Forces, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, their families, and others who wish to contribute to the security and well-being of Canadians.

We welcome applicants from across New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island with diverse skill sets including, but not limited to:

  • Accounting and business financial management.
  • Legal services
  • Business development
  • Security Industry
  • Human Resource Management
  • Public relations
  • Marketing
  • IT
  • Private Sector Leaders/Business owners

Competencies and Attributes sought include:

  • 10+ years in the workforce in leadership roles; Military, Police or Private Sector
  • Relevant university degree or equivalent
  • Experience in strategic planning, finance and accounting, and/or board governance
  • Military or Policing experience, or an understanding of the culture of the uniform through personal experience (i.e., family of veterans, military or police, or commissionaires)
  • Knowledge of English and French would be an asset

The Canadian Corps of Commissionaires New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island Division is a member division of the Canadian Corps of Commissionaires – an iconic Canadian brand that has been keeping people safe for over 100 years. Our force of over 800 well-trained and dedicated individuals serves both provinces and ensures the security of our public and private sector clients.
