Agilus is recruiting for a Regional Senior Manager, Finance Operations – GL in the manufacturing industry in a hybrid work environment in Markham, Ontario. Interpret and apply accounting standards to complex transactions and recommend appropriate treatments. Review journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation to ensure accuracy and policy compliance. Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes across multiple entities. Manage fixed assets, depreciation, capital expenditures, and right-of-use asset accounting. Coordinate intercompany reconciliations and support consolidated US GAAP and IFRS reporting. Prepare and review financial statements, variance analyses, and management reports. Partner with external auditors and drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and controls. The successful candidate brings: 5–8 years of relevant experience, including 2–3 years in management BA or BS in Accounting or Finance Professional designation (e.g., CPA, CA, CGA, CMA, CIA, CFE) is required for this role Experience in financial accounting/general ledger within both Canada and the United States. Proven leadership with solid technical accounting expertise Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to engage with senior leadership Proficient in accounting software and computer applications Ability to travel to the U.S. up to 15–20%.
