This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate professional to contribute to nationally significant heritage and federal projects, working at the intersection of conservation, design, and technical innovation.
The ideal candidate will bring a blend of technical expertise and creativity to support our architectural projects. They will also be caring, curious, creative, and collaborative with technical expertise, and a commitment to excellence in architectural design.
Support heritage documentation, existing conditions assessments, and conservation reporting
Evaluate heritage buildings based on condition, heritage value, and building pathology
Develop appropriate intervention and rehabilitation recommendations
Apply advanced digital documentation tools, including laser scanning and photogrammetry
Translate survey outputs into accurate BIM/Revit models
Apply the Parks Canada Standards and Guidelines and related heritage frameworks
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams delivering complex, sensitive heritage projects
Degree in Architecture, Heritage Conservation, or related discipline
Approximately 5+ years of experience in heritage conservation or adaptive reuse
Proficiency with Revit/BIM and digital documentation workflows
Strong technical writing, communication, and team coordination skills
Experience with PSPC/federal heritage projects is an asset
Ability to obtain a Reliability clearance.

Competitive base salary of $75,000 to $90,000 commensurate with experience, plus a variable alternative compensation component as well as paid vacation.

Compensation for this position will be determined based on a variety of factors, which may include relevant education, credentials, certifications, professional experience, skill set, level of seniority, individual performance, and organizational requirements.
